Our Year 3 and 4 students had a fantastic time yesterday at The Living Land Show, held at the Kent County Showground in Maidstone.

Living Land is a one-day event designed for primary school children to teach them about farming, agriculture, horticulture, and the countryside. This was our first visit to Living Land, where we joined over 2,500 primary school children!

Thanks to our regular visits to Seal Primary School Community Farm, our students have developed a strong relationship with nature and possess basic knowledge of farm management. Attending the Living Land event was an excellent opportunity to enhance our farm curriculum and provide the children with a deeper understanding of the connections among the various elements of nature and the environment.

There was so much to explore and learn! Some of highlights included watching a sheep dancing show, taking an imaginary ride in a RNLI dinghy, participating in engaging activities with WaterAid UK, and enjoying a bird of prey display. We also couldn't resist taking a quick picture in front of the antique tractors!

We hope to return next year!
